'Street Fighter': Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li Take on Deadly Competition in New Trailer
The latest trailer centers on Ryu and Ken’s rivalry as Chun Li recruits them to fight M. Bison in the World Warrior Tournament.
Paramount Pictures released a new Street Fighter trailer focusing on the central rivalry between Ryu and Ken Masters ahead of the film's October 16, 2026, premiere in IMAX.
Set during the brutal World Warrior Tournament, the live-action adaptation follows Chun Li as she recruits fighters to compete against M. Bison in this third film in the franchise.
Director Kitao Sakurai co-wrote the script with T. J. Fixman and told Empire Magazine he aimed for "a very distinct tone and approach" to avoid conventional video game movie tropes.
The ensemble cast includes Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, and Callina Liang as Chun Li, alongside David Dastmalchian, Jason Momoa, and Curtis Jackson.
Directors Danny and Michael Philippou initially led the project but eventually departed to prioritize their 2025 folk horror film, Bring Her Back, leading to Sakurai's hiring.
Street Fighter arrives at the cinema in October 2026 with Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li. Learn about the release date, plot, cast and details of the new trailer.
