Construction group Strabag is acquiring British civil engineering specialist Van Elle. The boards of directors of both companies have agreed on a cash offer of nearly £59 million (around €68 million), Strabag announced on Thursday. Van Elle shareholders will be offered 52.3 pence (around 60 cents) per share. This represents a premium of just over 58 percent on Wednesday's closing price.
