A 400-square-meter stepwell, potentially over 150 years old, has been unearthed in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal district.  The multi-chambered structure, featuring marble and brick floors, was discovered during excavations following the reopening of a local temple.  Authorities are working to clear the site and further investigate the historical find, alongside other surveyed shrines and wells in the region.
