Suspect in Statesboro Cinco de Mayo homicide captured
Following a tip from the public, Andrew White, 22, of Statesboro was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force on August 25th, 2026. White had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in the May 5 murder of Gregory Johnson Jr., who was shot and killed during a gathering at the Azul Restaurant on South Main Street.
