BEAUFORT, N.C. (WNCN) -- North Carolina officials are warning visitors at the coast to stay away from wild horses after an incident involving a 6-day-old foal earlier this month. There are several areas on the coast where wild horses roam free, including at the Outer Banks in Corolla and the Shackleford Banks in the Cape Lookout National Seashore.
