STA: From the Copper Tower initiative to preserve the existing Copernicus Pass to a bike lane.

The Municipality of Koper is satisfied with the announcements about the start of construction of a parallel track on the new route of the Koper-Divača railway, but they do not have sufficient guarantees about the withdrawal of the existing line, said Mayor Aleš Bržan after today's meeting with coastal deputies in Koper. A group of MPs today tabled an initiative to convert the railway into a bicycle lane.
