St. Johns County proposes building 4 new fire stations, training facility, new medical examiner’s facility

Plans are in the works to build up to four new fire stations, among some other new facilities, in St. Johns County.On Tuesday, the Board of County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. to discuss building Fire Stations 21, 22, 23, and 24.According to the agenda, if approved, the plan is to use money the county already has to build these facilities, however, it did not specify where that money would come from or how much it would cost.
