Srirangapatna Dasara was given a grand start by offering floral tributes to the goddess Chamundeshwari. Actor-director Crazy Star Ravichandran inaugurated the Dasara. Captain Dhananjaya carried the Chamundeshwari Utsav idol in the elephant barn and took part in the Jambu Savari procession. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and many dignitaries participated.
