It's now clear: Susanne Wille, former TV presenter and currently head of cultural affairs at Swiss Radio and Television, will be the new Director General of SRG.

SRG has elected Susanne Wille as the new Director General. She is the first woman in this position — and will soon have to fight a voting campaign.

Meeting on Saturday, the Board of Directors and the Assembly of Delegates appointed Susanne Wille as head of the SSR, replacing Gilles Marchand. It will take effect on November 1.

With her, a woman is at the helm of the Swiss Radio and Television Company for the first time. She was elected unanimously.
