Squirrel doors scavenger hunt enchants families

Armed with a map, visitors can hunt for the 17 hidden squirrel doors that are spread out amongst the 25-acre arboretum at Spiegel Grove in Fremont. Inspired by the fairy doors in Ann Arbor and by the fact that squirrels are the best-known wildlife on the property, John Havens, building and grounds superintendent, came up with the idea of squirrel doors.
