Spurs and Pelicans to square off in Paris and Manchester in January 2027
Victor Wembanyama’s Spurs will headline the trip, and the Pelicans will play their first regular-season games in France and England.
On Wednesday, the National Basketball Association announced the New Orleans Pelicans will play the San Antonio Spurs at Accor Arena in Paris on Jan. 14, 2027, and at Co-op Live in Manchester on Jan. 17, 2027.
Pelicans Governor Gayle Benson stated the games represent 'another significant step' in strengthening cultural ties, marking the franchise's third and fourth European appearances and first contests in France and England.
Spurs CEO RC Buford called the games an "incredible honor" to play in England, while Pelicans Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars described the trip as a "unique platform" showcasing center Victor Wembanyama.
Both games will air live across more than 200 countries on television and digital media, while the league, Pelicans, and Spurs conduct NBA Cares social impact programming focused on health, wellness, and sustainability.
Following previous contests in Berlin and London, these matchups continue the NBA's multi-year slate of regular-season European games, with additional matchups scheduled for Berlin and Paris during the 2027-28 campaign.
The Pelicans of New Orleans and Spurs of San Antonio will play next year in Paris and Manchester as part of the NBA's multi-year calendar of regular season matches in Europe.
