Speedboat killer Jack Shepherd jailed again for 20 months for attacking woman
He received 20 months and a four-year extended licence after admitting two assaults that left his partner with bruising and a permanent scar.
On Monday, Jack Shepherd was sentenced to 20 months in prison with four years on extended licence at Isleworth Crown Court after pleading guilty to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage.
The sentencing follows assaults in February and June 2025 against his partner, during which Shepherd admitted pinning her down and punching her, then striking her with barbecue tongs that left a permanent scar.
Judge Martin Edmunds KC, the Recorder of Kensington and Chelsea, said the impact of Shepherd's violence had been "aggravated by your notoriety," while defence advocate George Payne argued the behaviour was "driven by his abuse of alcohol."
These attacks sparked Shepherd's recall to prison after his release on licence in January 2024, compounding convictions for the 2018 manslaughter of Charlotte Brown and a 2019 barman assault.
Shepherd will serve this 20-month sentence concurrently with his existing term, with authorities expecting his final release from prison on January 23, 2029, when he will complete his extended licence supervision.
