On March 20, an annual culinary student competition took place where the most talented saltwater chef of Spain was chosen in Mérida, Spain. The competition was held for the third time this year, while 18 schools from all parts of the country participated this time. Spain is the largest market for Icelandic saltfish and is featured in many popular dishes in the country.
