The Secretary-General of Fisheries, Isabel Artime, reiterated on Wednesday the need for the European Commission to review the regulation prohibiting deep-sea fishing in 87 areas of the Atlantic platform, following the submission of a technical report that concludes that the bottom longline has little or virtually no impact on the seabed.
