South Burlington votes down second school budget

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - The South Burlington community has again voted down their proposed school budget Thursday night.The vote was close, with 1,427 people in favor of the reformed budget and 1,577 voting against, a difference of only 150.This budget would have reduced the property tax increase from 23% to 14%.
