Sophia Jensen finished second at the C-1,500m on the occasion of the ICF 2026 World Cup of speed canoes, presented at Jean-Drapeau Park in Montreal.
Canada's Sophia Jensen won two silver medals at the FIC 2026 World Cup in Montreal, Quebec. It was the first World Cup outside Europe in 25 years and a first competition on Canadian soil. In Saturday afternoon's finals, Jensen first took second place in the women's event of the C1,500 m in 2 min 11.98 seconds, finishing at 1.30 seconds from China's Mengya Sun. Bronze went to Italy's Olympia Della Giustina.
