The British Army has temporarily banned the use of Ajax armoured vehicles after soldiers became sick from excessive noise and vibration during training. The ban comes just weeks after the British government said it was confident NATO allies would be interested in buying the armoured vehicles, which are made in South Wales, the BBC reports.
Ajax has only just been declared operational. After 30 soldiers are ill, the tank with Austrian roots must not be used for the time being.
