Solange Knowles Pays Tribute to Bring It On Co-Star Hayden Panettiere

The American actress Hayden Panettiere died Sunday at age 36 in her Greenville, South Carolina home. Police found her unresponsive and in cardiac arrest, stating there were "no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances."
Representatives for Panettiere said Monday she will be remembered as an "incredible light" who brought "immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her." The actress had struggled with addiction and mental health challenges.
Solange Knowles, who co-starred with Panettiere in the 2006 film Bring, posted tributes saying "the light surrounds" her now. Cast members including Francia Raisa and Gustavo Carr also honored the actress on social media.
Gustavo Carr, who played Panettiere's love interest Jess, remembered her as "an old soul, wise beyond your years," while Francia Raisa posted she had been "stuck since last night" following the announcement.
Knowles honored their shared journey and the work they created together in Bring, noting it "really means something to people," reflecting the lasting impact of their collaboration as young girls in the film.
