City of Bowling Green announces road & lane closures – BG Independent News

From CITY OF BOWLING GREEN Citizens can expect brief impacts to their drive or walk while the city of Bowling Green crews conduct road work. It is encouraged to note that all closure dates are subject to change, depending on weather conditions and the progress of the work. The southbound lane of South Church Street will be closed from Ordway Avenue to Pearl Street, and the westbound lane of Ordway Avenue will be closed from South Church to Grove Streets, Aug. 3-4. Crews will repair a developing sinkhole at the northwest corner of Church and Ordway. Troup Avenue will be closed in both directions between Scott Hamilton Avenue and Urschel Drive, Aug. 3-4, from 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Crews will replace a catch basin in the area. A section of Troup Avenue will be closed Aug. 3-4. The intersection of East Merry and Willard Avenues will be closed to traffic Aug. 4-6, from 6 a.m. – 4 p.m. Crews will install ADA plates, curbs, and sidewalks in the area.
