He did not reach fifty. The sad news was first announced by the Poprad Theatre, of which he was a member. He died on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. "It is with deep sadness that we announce that our beloved friend, colleague, actor, member of the Poprad Theatre troupe, Michal Novák, has unexpectedly left us. Honor to his memory," the theatre said in a statement.
