Slim Jim Makes Snacking History with World's Longest Meat Snack Stick
The 429-foot-5-inch stick topped a 314-foot record and was built by 11 Conagra employees to showcase the brand’s bold image.
On Wednesday, Conagra Brands employees at the Omaha campus set a new Guinness World Record for the longest meat snack stick, officially measuring 429-foot-5-inch.
A team of 11 Conagra employees began the project in June 2025, crafting the 143 yards of Slim Jim to weigh nearly 70 pounds and embody the brand's bold personality.
The Slim Jim creation surged well past the former record holder, a 314-foot-long meat stick unveiled in 2023, crushing the previous achievement.
VP/GM Juan Amadaor said the team created "a Slim Jim stick that's bigger and bolder than anything the world has ever seen." The effort celebrated the brand's bold ethos.
Jess Sweley, Senior Vice President of Research & Development at Conagra Brands, called the record-breaking project a "true labor of love" celebrating team creativity and dedication.
