Farnborough 2026 – SkyDrive announces supplier deals with Sanyoh, Kineco, ITO and Airtificial
Japan eVTOL developer SkyDrive has announced a range of production contracts with suppliers at the show. It has announced a strategic partnership with Sanyoh Manufacturing Co, a Japan-based specialist in high-precision aerospace sheet metal fabrication, for the manufacturing and supply of key high-precision sheet metal parts for SkyDrive’s production aircraft, the SKYDRIVE (Model SD-05). The scope of supply includes critical structural and mechanical components designed to optimize the performance, weight, and safety of the SD-05. Sanyoh will manufacture lightweight, durable sheet metal components essential for the aircraft’s airframe structural integrity. This utilizes its advanced forming, bending, and assembly capabilities developed over decades of defence and commercial aviation production. India’s Kineco will develop and manufacture high-performance composite aerostructures for the SD-05.. Japan’s ITO Corporation will supply high-precision machined metal parts. The scope of supply includes critical structural and mechanical components designed to optimize the performance, weight, and safety of the SD-05.
