The 5 New Free Sky TV Upgrades Set to Make Things Easier for Customers
The free software update adds a top menu, sports shortcuts, recording tools and Smart Voice, with about 1,000 hours of storage.
Sky is rolling out free software updates for Sky Glass TVs and Sky Stream boxes in the coming months, introducing a New menu bar and navigation changes.
A New menu bar across the top of the Home screen will provide instant access to Home, Guide, Library, Sport, Account, and Settings, simplifying navigation for Users.
The update adds a Dedicated Sport section for easier access to live channels and on-demand content, while a Recents section allows Users to return to recently used apps and channels.
Users will be able to record individual programs or series, with Sky Stream and Sky Glass offering around 1,000 hours of storage for managing content.
Smart Voice, an Improved Sky search feature, will handle complicated requests and follow-up questions, with a glowing ball appearing on screen to signal processing activity.
