TORONTO - Czechia's Katerina Siniakova and China's Shuai Zhang defeated Italy's Sara Errani and American Nicole Melichar-Martinez 6-3, 6-4 in the doubles final on Thursday at the National Bank Open.

China's Zhang Shuai and Czech partner Katerina Siniakova won the women's doubles title at the WTA 1000 event in Toronto on Thursday, defeating Sara Errani of Italy and Nicole Melichar-Martinez of the United States 6-3, 6-4 in the final.
Tennis player Kateřina Siniaková won her 38th doubles title in Toronto, and with Chinese partner Zhang Shuai, the world number one in doubles won her third tournament. They went through the Canadian Open without losing a set, defeating the Italian-American pair Sara Errani and Nicole Melicharová Martinez in the final 6:3, 6:4.
