Signature issues keep Brett Lindstrom off Nebraska governor's ballot, state says

The Secretary of State’s Office said his campaign submitted 5,765 signatures, but only 3,358 were validated, falling short of ballot requirements.

Secretary of State Bob Evnen said Brett Lindstrom submitted 5,765 signatures, and the secretary's office validated 3,358. A nonpartisan candidate must have 4,000 valid signatures to appear on the ballot.
