Four years after the massive loss of fish in the Oder, Polish authorities are once again fighting against poisonous algae in a side water of the river. Until now, fish mortality has been limited to one section of the Gleiwitzer Kanal, a spokesman for the local water authority told Tok.fm. In the past few days, more than four tons of dead fish have been recovered.
