Several arrests made as part of sex offence investigation into members of religious group
More than 500 officers arrested several people after a detailed investigation into allegations involving one female victim, police said.
- On Wednesday, more than 500 officers from Cheshire Police and neighbouring forces raided three addresses in Crewe, including Webb House, arresting several people linked to the Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light.
- The operation follows allegations reported in March regarding sexual offences, forced marriage, and modern slavery occurring in 2023, involving one female victim who was a member of the group.

- Cheshire Police urge anyone with information to assist the investigation via the Public Portal or by calling 101 to report concerns related to the ongoing operation.
