According to the current poll of the Research Group Elections, the AfD has reached a new record lead of seven percentage points to the Union. While the AfD has improved to 28 percent, the Union has fallen to only 21 percent.
The AfD is growing in the political barometer, while CDU and CSU are continuing to lose. Together, the governing parties remain well below 40 percent.
