- The militants were allegedly involved in arson attacks along the N-40 highway; 11 other fighters belonging to Fitna Al-Hindustan were killed on August 31 in earlier operations linked to similar sabotage acts.
- Pakistan maintains that Afghan Taliban authorities have failed to address cross-border terrorism, which has risen sharply since 2021; security sources stated operations will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated from the country.
