The Leipzig players defeated Wolfsburg 3-0 in the 29th round of the German Bundesliga, and among the heroes of the match was the Slovenian national team player Benjamin Šeško, who scored a goal in the second half. Second-placed Bayern beat Cologne 2-0 and, at least theoretically, prevented Leverkusen from winning the title.
