Servier to Present Extended Follow-Up Results from the Phase 3 INDIGO Trial Showing Durable and Sustained Treatment Benefits of VORANIGO® (vorasidenib) at ASCO 2026
Extended follow-up found 72% fewer on-treatment seizures and no new safety signals, supporting VORANIGO’s durable benefit in Grade 2 IDH-mutant glioma.
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, Servier Pharmaceuticals announced updated Phase 3 INDIGO trial results showing a median progression-free survival of 44.1 months for patients with Grade 2 IDH-mutant glioma treated with VORANIGO.
Historically, patients with Grade 2 IDH-mutant gliomas faced poor prognoses and managed disease with a 'watch and wait' strategy, according to Dr. Timothy Cloughesy, an INDIGO trial investigator, due to limited targeted treatment options.
Patients treated with VORANIGO experienced a 72% reduction in on-treatment seizures, while fewer than 5% discontinued treatment due to adverse events , demonstrating tolerability.
Islam Hassan, Global Head of Development-Neuro-Oncology at Servier, said, "With more than three years of follow-up data, these results validate the durable and sustained benefits of long-term treatment with VORANIGO."
Researchers will present exploratory analyses on seizure rates and quality of life during the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting on Monday, June 1, 2026.
