On the night of 14-15 September, a Vega C launcher is expected to place in orbit two Earth observation satellites, on behalf of the Eumetsat organisation and the European Space Agency (ESA): Sentinel 3C and Flex. They will allow the fine study of climate and vegetation.
The two satellites will have to monitor the Earth in order to anticipate the problems particularly of drought. And both the satellites and the launcher were partially designed in Mont-sur-Marchienne by Thales Alenia Space. ...
