The Indian markets surged in early trade on Wednesday prompted by rising major Asian markets and all major US and European indices ending yesterday in the green. At 9:25 AM, Sensex 30 was at 78,835.78, up 0.52% or 406.83 points, while Nifty 50 was at 24,620.95 up 0.025% or 6.05 points.
The share of Indigo, the country's largest airline company included in the Sensex companies, opened today with the highest increase of 2.25 percent.
