MANILA, Philippines — The Senate impeachment court has canceled the scheduled trial of Vice President Sara Duterte on Wednesday Sept. 30, Senate Secretary Renato Bantug announced Tuesday.In an advisory, Bantug said the proceedings will resume on Thursday, Oct. 1, at 10 a.m.No further details were immediately provided on the reason for the cancellation.
