- Semperis Ltd. today announced it acquired MightyID Inc., a cloud identity resilience specialist tied to Okta Inc. and Ping Identity Corp., for an undisclosed sum, extending its reach across AD, Entra ID, Okta and Ping.
- Semperis framed the move as a shift from prevention toward operational resilience, warning failures at the identity layer can escalate into full business crises.
- MightyID offers backup, restore, migration, and failover tools for cloud identity platforms cited in Gartner's 2025 guidance, while Semperis' platform supports prevention, detection, response, and rapid recovery.
- The combined platform will add built-in fault tolerance and crisis management, benefiting more than 1,000 organizations across 40+ countries, Semperis said.
