The best alpine skiers will compete in the third giant slalom of the season today on the Panorama course in Semmering, Austria. The first run will start at 10:00, the final at 13:00, and three Slovenian competitors will be at the start, Ana Bucik Jogan, Neja Dvornik and Andreja Slokar. American champion Mikaela Shiffrin is still recovering from a fall in Killington.

Na progi Panorama v Semmeringu v Avstriji se bodo najboljše alpske smučarke danes pomerile na tretjem veleslalomu sezone. Prva vožnja se bo začela ob 10. uri, finalna ob 13.00, na startu pa bodo tri slovenske tekmovalke, Ana Bucik Jogan, Neja Dvornik in Andreja Slokar. Ameriška šampionka Mikaela Shiffrin še okreva po padcu v Killingtonu.

Semmering in southern Lower Austria will once again host alpine skiers after two years. The giant slalom is scheduled for Saturday and the slalom for Sunday. The organizers' wish for the skiers to compete under the spotlights will not come true this time.

Semmering na jugu Spodnje Avstrije bo po dveh letih znova gostil alpske smučarke.  V soboto je na sporedu veleslalom, v nedeljo slalom.  Želja organizatorjev, da bi smučarke tekmovale pod žarometi, se tokrat še ne bo uresničila.
