Teen Kidnapped at Gunpoint, Dragged Through Home Found Safe
Police said the teen was found safe Monday night and the case remains an active investigation.
On Sunday, May 3, 2026, two armed men abducted 17-year-old Corvin Gardner from his home on Hendrix Street in Lexington, South Carolina, prompting an investigation by the Lexington Police Department.
According to his grandmother, Sylvia Brown, the suspects wore bandanas and carried handguns, forcing Gardner through the back of the house and onto Barr Road before fleeing.
Witnesses reported seeing Gardner and the armed men heading toward Barr Road, leading Lexington Police investigators and federal agencies to track the teen after he was forced into a vehicle.
Gardner was found safe on Monday evening, May 4, 2026, though his family remains traumatized and the Lexington Police Department continues investigating the case as active.
