Seahawks’ QB Jalen Milroe showing progress at training camp
Milroe connected on two touchdown passes as Seattle’s offense rebounded from Monday and rookie Bud Clark returned an interception for a pick-six.
On Tuesday, second-year Seattle Seahawks quarterback Jalen Milroe delivered one of his best practices, leading the offense to a bounce-back effort after Monday's defensive dominance.
Entering his second NFL training camp, Milroe remains the number three quarterback behind Sam Darnold and Drew Lock following his 2025 selection. Receiver Cooper Kupp said Milroe is "letting some balls go with anticipation that he wasn't last year."
Milroe threw touchdowns to Cody White, Eric Saubert, and Jadarian Price during the session, demonstrating improved timing and accuracy including a 12-yard reception and a pass to Price under pressure.
Rookie Bud Clark energized the crowd with an interception, performing a Marshawn Lynch-like jump into the end zone. The team officially moved Velus Jones to running back to address depth issues.
Linebacker Tyrice Knight stood out throughout the practice, displaying increased speed and quickness. After battling injuries in 2025, Knight looks like a different player competing in head coach Mike Macdonald's culture of competition.
