Saving a Te Puna native bush reserve

Friends of IAnson Bush Reserve have been putting in countless hours planting and maintaining the 8.2ha reserve at Te Puna. The land is owned by the Queen Elizabeth 11 Trust and managed by Western Bay of Plenty District Council. By late 2018, the reserve was in a sorry state. Volunteers have met at least monthly since its inception to work through the reserve, with the aim of eradicating all pest species.
