Saturday race in James City County raising money to combat ovarian cancer

JAMES CITY — The 16th annual Hare and Tortoise Ovarian Cancer Memorial Run/Walk will be held at The Meadows on Saturday. The run is sponsored by the O’Hare and Whitten families in memory of Karene O’Hare and Bitsy Whitten of Williamsburg, who were victims of the disease. Proceeds go to combat ovarian cancer.
