On the night of 14-15 August, the Sartene gendarmerie was hit by gunfire. Ajaccio Public Prosecutor's Office opened an investigation, without any certainty as to the origin of the shootings for the time being.
On Thursday evening, around 11:45 p.m., Category B weapons were fired at the Sartene Gendarmerie in South Corsica. No casualties were reported. An investigation is under way to determine whether this is a targeted act or a festive fire.
