Sanders says Vermont schools finally receive withheld federal education funding

More than 20 Vermont school districts and the state’s Agency of Education have finally received a total of $11.6 million in previously withheld federal K-12 COVID-19 funding from the U.S. Department of Education.

Trump administration releases education funds to Vermont

The funds will reimburse schools for activities including summer and afterschool programs, school renovations, teacher training, literacy and math coaches, and mental health programs.
