San Pablo man gets 13 years, 8 months for stabbing woman to death

RICHMOND — A 30-year-old man has been sentenced to 13 years and eight months in state prison for killing a 59-year-old woman he allegedly solicited as a prostitute. Jacobo Gil-Arvizu, of San Pablo, pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter, assault and false imprisonment in the 2022 death of 59-year-old Sheila Green. He was initially charged with murder but that count was dropped as part of a plea deal with Contra Costa prosecutors. Related A…
