Knocking the fire out was a fairly quick process, but getting to lingering hotspots took some time. At around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 26, the Salmon Arm Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at the Birch Lanes manufactured home park on 20th Avenue NE, by Highway 1.
