On Monday, January 12, Rwanda announced in an interview in Jeune Afrique that Kigali will present Louise Mushikiwabo's candidacy for a third term at the head of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF). An announcement made ten months before the next Francophonie summit scheduled for November in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Paul Kagame decided to present the Secretary General's candidacy again at the next Francophonie Summit. The Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs announced in exclusivity to JA, during an interview in which he also spoke about the crisis in the Great Lakes region.
