Unlike IOC and OEOC, Sports Minister Werner Kogler is strictly against Russia participating in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. “It is simply unacceptable for Ukrainian athletes to compete against Russian and Belarusian athletes in the battle for medals,” said Vice Chancellor Kogler in response to a request from the daily newspaper “Der Standard” (online edition).
