Lithuania has been unable to recover a Russian citizen who jumped off a transit train and fled to Finland for almost a year. In mid-June last year, 21-year-old Danilas Muchametov is believed to have jumped off a moving Adler-Kaliningrad transit train in the Kybartai area and disappeared. A large police force, a border guard helicopter, dog handlers, and experts with drones searched for the fugitive, but no trace of the Russian citizen was found.
