Russia continues to use US microchips in the production of ballistic missiles and cruises, as it has not yet succeeded in replacing them with Russian components, Vladislav Vlasyuk, Ukraine's President's representative for sanctions policy, said Interfax-Ukraine.

Russia’s defence industry continues to use a substantial number of American microchips in the production of ballistic and cruise missiles. An attempt to replace them with Russian-made components proved unsuccessful.
Russia continues to use American-made microchips to produce ballistic missiles and robotic aircraft, as it has so far failed to replace them with domestic components. Although attempts were made to self-supply last year, this year they again returned to Western technology to maintain the accuracy of hitting weapons, Ukrainska Pravda reported.
