RTX begins $53 million expansion of LTAMDS radar production facility in Andover, Massachusetts

The LTAMDS is a next-generation radar system developed to counter advanced threats, including hypersonic weapons. The Andover facility is the final integration point for LTAMDS units destined for both U.S. and international customers. Raytheon is increasing production capacity at the site to speed up delivery of the radar system.
