The school faces problems that go beyond the learning process, from drug use and violence to misinformation and uncontrolled use of technology. Specialists draw attention to the fact that the protection of children cannot remain solely the responsibility of teachers.
Children grow up in a world where drugs get closer to schools, false information spreads at a huge speed, and artificial technology and intelligence influence their choices and behavior. Faced with these dangers, teachers cannot fight alone to protect a generation.
The safety of children, drug use, the pressure of technology and the lack of real collaboration between school, family and institutions have reached the center of a debate organized at the Chamber of Deputies.
The school cannot compensate for the lack of family involvement, social vulnerabilities and the increasing effects of drugs, distraining and technology on children alone.
